AT&T is the world's networking company, delivering unmatched quality and technology for all home and small office communications needs. AT&T cordless phones are available in 5.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz lines. The new AT&T line of 5.8 GHz cordless phones offer increased sound quality, enhanced range and heightened security. They are available in both digital and analog variations. The less-cluttered 5.8 GHz frequency gives a clearer signal than phones operating on lower bandwidths. AT&T's 5.8 GHz phones are expandable to either 4 or 8 handsets per phone jack depending on the model. Some models come standard with two or three handsets and mobile bases included. Other models feature selectable ring tones and handset speaker phones. Full color graphical displays are available on a few of these models as well. Other features found on phones within the 5.8 GHz line include: 50 name/number phonebooks, last 10 number redial, spare battery chargers and integrated answering machines. AT&T's 2.4 GHz line gives clear, interruption-free calls. This line provides better performance and sound quality than phones that operate on the 900 MHz bandwidth. The 2.4 GHz model is available in digital and analog models. These models come standard with Caller ID/Call Waiting display. Several models are expandable for use with up to 8 handsets on one phone jack. Many come standard with two or even three handsets in a system. Most digital models feature 15 or 25 minutes of digital record time. These models are equipped with integrated speakerphones for easy hands-free use. Other features available in the 2.4 GHz line include: handset volume control, intercom, last 5 number redial, 50 name/number Caller ID history and integrated answering machines. Both the 2.4 GHz line and the 5.8 GHz line offer Call Conferencing for their multi-handset systems. This feature allows conference calls to be made between the base speakerphone, cordless handsets and outside callers. |
